Fruit Sushi

I don't know about you, but I love sushi. However, you don't have to love sushi to love these: Fruit Sushi.

This super cute idea came from The Friend - a children's magazine published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They looked so fun and so tasty that we gave them a try and they were just as we suspected!

BANANA SUSHI

What you'll need:

1 banana
1 fruit roll-up or fruit leather of choice
sprinkles

1. Peel the banana
2. Wrap the fruit leather around the banana
3. Cut the wrapped banana into 1-inch slices
4. Add a few sprinkles to the middle of each slice to make it look cool.

MELON SUSHI

What you'll need:

1 cantaloupe
1 cucumber
toothpicks

1. Cut the cantaloupe into 1-inch cubes
2. Peel the cucumber with a peeler. Slice strips of cucumber with the peeler
3. Wrap the cantaloupe cubes with sliced strips of cucumber. Stick a toothpick through the cucumber and cantaloupe to hold it all together.

DIPPING SAUCE

1 carton of yogurt, any fruity flavor you prefer
1 teaspoon of honey

Mix the yogurt and honey in a small bowl, and use it to dip your "sushi."
